Parking

Free parking is available at the courthouse.

Pre-Mediation

When arriving at the Courthouse, go to the 2nd floor and speak to Leslie in the clerk’s office to find out where the summary process session is being held. Leslie will also be able to tell you when the list will be called and if there is a specific room that she would like you to use that day for mediation.

Mediation

The clerk’s assistant will let parties know that there are mediators available. She will ask them to meet mediators out in the hall after she has finished calling the list. Mediators should bring the parties into a designated mediation room and begin the Mediator’s Introduction.

Post-Mediation

After the mediation has finished, ask Leslie in the clerk’s office to photocopy the forms. Provide parties with the relevant copies and retain a copy of all paperwork for yourself as well. If the case has settled give the file (with the original paperwork) to Leslie. If not, return the file to the Clerk Magistrate or Judge and ask the parties to return to the courtroom.
