MWI Virtual Court Mediation Panel Survey

We’re moving forward with virtual court mediation! To help us finalize our transition, the following survey provides MWI with important information about our panel’s interest and readiness to mediate. There are only five questions, but they are rich with information. Please read the questions and responses carefully so we can gather accurate data about the panel. If you have any questions along the way, you can contact Megan at mwinkeler@mwi.org or on her cell at 617-388-0550.

We ask that you submit your responses no later than Sunday, July 26 at 5pm ET. If we do not receive your response, we will assume you will not be taking part in the Virtual Court Mediation Panel.

  • If you answered "yes" to the question above: we're excited to have you on our panel and to begin mediating cases virtually! Please complete Section 2 of the survey.

    If you answered "no" or "not right now" to the question above: you can skip Section 2 and click the submit button at the end. If you change your mind and would like to mediate small claims cases virtually in the future, simply let Megan know and she'll add you to the list. Thank you for being part of MWI, and don't hesitate to reach out with additional questions, comments, or suggestions!

  • Many panelists have expressed an interest in being able to communicate directly with one another about upcoming cases, rather than working through MWI. To facilitate this, we could provide you with panel members' email addresses. Before sharing this personal information, though, we want (a) set clear boundaries for how this information should be used and (b) get your approval to share your email address.

    (a) By agreeing to share your email and receive panel members' email addresses, you agree to only use this information to communicate about mediations conducted through the MWI Virtual Court Mediation Program. Attempts to use this information for marketing purposes, unsolicited group email chains, or other unapproved activities can result in removal from the panel (if in doubt, ask Megan in advance). If you agree to these terms, we will include the email address we have on file for you (where you received the link for this survey) in a document containing panelists' names and email addresses. Please select the "I want to update my email address first" option below if you would prefer to share a different email address.
  • If you want to share other information with your fellow panelists in the course of a mediation, such as phone numbers, you are free to do so with each other's approval. MWI will not provide a panelist's phone number to others without the panelist's express permission.
