Chuck is the Founder and Executive Director of MWI, a dispute resolution service and training firm in Boston. Responsible for all financial planning and management, business development and execution, marketing campaigns, for over 200 hundred mediators, trainers, staff and interns; Sets and oversees the implementation of MWI’s vision, mission, as well as current and long-term organizational goals and objectives.

Title:  Director of Ombuds & Mediation Services


Josh Hoch is MWI’s Director of Ombuds & Mediation Services. He is an active mediator, ombuds, instructor, and mentor. He manages MWI’s Outsourced Ombuds Panel, MWI’s Conference Ombuds Program and is an outsourced organizational ombuds. He has been on staff at MWI since June of 2001. Dana Hinojosa

Title:  Director of Strategic Engagement


Dana Hinojosa is MWI’s Director of Strategic Engagement. She is a Certified Organizational Ombuds Practitioner (CO-OP), an active workshop facilitator, and a guest lecturer on topics related to conflict management and the role of an organizational ombuds. Dana works with MWI’s ombuds clients to assess what outcomes are important to them, oversee verifiable data management protocols, and create reports designed to illuminate areas of opportunity for clients seeking to foster a thriving culture.

In previous roles, Dana has helped multiple ombuds programs more strategically capture and present data in a way that accurately portrays the value of ombuds work and provides meaningful insight to guide leadership action when addressing areas of concern. Additionally, Dana has worked for over a decade in conflict management and employee engagement. Before joining MWI, she was an ombuds for the University of California, Davis Campus and Medical Center, and was the Assistant Director of Learning and Engagement in Human Resources at Pepperdine University. She is a mediator and trainer with extensive international experience living and working throughout Asia, Africa, and the Middle East. Dana holds a Master’s Degree in Dispute Resolution from Pepperdine University School of Law’s Straus Institute. She is a member of the International Ombuds Association and sits on the board of the California Caucus of College and University Ombuds.

Diana Chiang

Title:    Director of Commercial & Corporate Programs


Diana Chiang is a mediator, ombuds, trainer, and Director of Corporate and Court Programs at MWI. Diana oversees the Alternative Dispute Resolution Programs for MWI’s corporate clients including General Motors, BMW of North America, and 7-Eleven. She is the Director of MWI’s Court Programs, overseeing a panel of 100+ pro bono court mediators. Through this program, she conducts seminars and trainings to provide continuing education and networking opportunities for MWI’s dedicated panel. Diana mediates in a variety of areas including divorce, civil cases, workplace & employment, housing disputes, and harassment prevention orders. She provides coaching and mentoring services to mediators seeking to grow their skills. Diana is currently an adjunct faculty member teaching negotiation at Suffolk University Law School, and also taught at the University of New Hampshire as an adjunct faculty member of the Justice Studies Program. She earned a B.A. dual degree in Sociology and Justice Studies from the University of New Hampshire, and a J.D. from Suffolk University Law School. Diana also serves on the Board of Directors of the New England Association for Conflict Resolution.

Clarice Parsons

Title:    Court Program Coordinator


Clarice Parsons, J.D., is a mediator and manages MWI’s Court Mediation Program. As Court Program Coordinator, she supports MWI’s panel of 100+ volunteer neutrals who facilitate pre-trial mediations in 14 of Greater Boston’s District and Municipal Courts. As a neutral, Clarice mediates small claims, eviction, and civil cases for Massachusetts Trial Courts. Clarice also leads the internship program at MWI and supports MWI’s training programs.

Before joining MWI, Clarice worked for several years as a paralegal and law firm manager. She earned a dual Bachelor of Arts degree in Applied Legal Studies and Political Science from Suffolk University and a Juris Doctorate from New England School of Law.

Elise Ramos

Title:   Ombuds Program Coordinator


Elise Ramos is a mediator and Program Coordinator at MWI. She oversees different projects and teams, develops training material for organizations, and conducts organizational climate surveys and reports for different clients. Elise holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law from Utrecht University in the Netherlands and a Master’s degree in Negotiation and Conflict Resolution from Columbia University. In 2020, Elise earned certifications in mediation and cross-cultural negotiation from ESSEC Business School in Paris. In 2022, she completed MWI’s advanced mediation training, became a member of the International Ombuds Association, and completed IOA’s ombuds training, Foundations of the Organizational Ombuds course. In the past, Elise worked designing participatory action research workshops to guide social transformation in conflict-prone settings. She is fluent and comfortable working in English, Spanish, and Dutch.

Zoe Doran

Zoe Doran (she/her/hers) is a Program Coordinator at MWI. Zoe works with MWI’s internal team to support the operations of the ombuds program, develop client materials, and assist with data analysis and sharing. Zoe holds a bachelor’s degree in Environment from McGill University.

Lisa Dowell

Title:    Operations Manager


Lisa Dowell is MWI’s Operations Manager. As Operations Manager, Lisa manages MWI’s financial data and compliance by maintaining accurate books on accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and daily financial entries and reconciliations. She performs daily accounting tasks such as monthly financial reporting, general ledger entries, and record payments and adjustments.

Robert “Bob” Maloney is MWI’s Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Bob is responsible for directing and advising on the financial aspects of MWI including tracking cash flow and financial planning.
