Forms

Parking
Some street parking is available on Meridian Street and surrounding neighborhood streets but is difficult to find. There are no court designated parking lots.
Pre-Mediation
Upon arriving at the courthouse, proceed through security and make your way to the second floor. Small Claims sessions are held in Second Session, the courtroom located at the far end of the corridor. Summary Process sessions are held in First Session, directly across from the Clerk’s Office. Please let the clerks know that you’ve arrived.
At the start of the session, introduce yourself to the session clerk and offer to give a brief introduction of the mediation process to the parties.
Mediation
This courthouse has a designated mediation room located directly behind Second Session. The room is furnished with a table, chairs, and a bench and is generally available for mediations.
Because of its location, police officers and other courthouse personnel may occasionally pass through the room to access other areas of the building, particularly during breaks or while waiting for court sessions to begin. In addition, court staff and attorneys may use the room when it is not being used for mediation.
If you need the room for a mediation and it is occupied, check in with the Clerk’s office for an alternative space.
Post-Mediation
At the conclusion of the mediation, go to the clerk’s office and ask for documents to be copied and return the case file. If the case settles, the clerk will likely read the agreement before the parties and date-stamp it. Ensure that you leave with a scan or picture of the forms to upload to the court portal.
Uploading paperwork: Please add the case information and upload the paperwork under the court case in the portal. If you are having trouble with this step or have mediated multiple cases in one session, please email the scans to MWI at courtmediation@mwi.org.
