About Jim

Jim Duane is an experienced full-time mediator and arbitrator. In addition to his private dispute resolution practice, he serves as an arbitrator and mediator with MWI in Boston and the Cape Cod Dispute Resolution Center.

Jim also serves as a panelist for the American Arbitration Association's National Roster of Commercial Arbitrators.

His effectiveness as a mediator and arbitrator is grounded in his intelligence, fairness, measured temperament, more than 40 years of experience as a civil litigator, and numerous board and leadership roles in higher education, elementary education, and nonprofit organizations.
