About Chuck
Chuck Doran is an experienced Organizational Ombuds, mediator, and dispute resolution trainer who has served organizations throughout the United States and internationally for more than 30 years.
A Certified Organizational Ombuds Practitioner (CO-OP), Chuck completed ombuds training through the International Ombuds Association in 1995 and has served as an organizational ombuds for companies, universities, and other organizations since 1997.
His work combines deep expertise in mediation, organizational conflict management, negotiation, and ombuds practice, helping organizations address challenges while fostering healthier workplace cultures.

Background
Chuck has been a mediator since 1992 and serves on numerous distinguished mediation panels, including the CPR Dispute Resolution Panel of Distinguished Neutrals, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination (MCAD), MWI, the Harvard Mediation Program, and the United States Postal Service REDRESS mediation panels.
As a trainer and consultant, he has worked with corporate, governmental, and nonprofit clients including Coca-Cola Enterprises, General Motors, Bose Corporation, and the Harvard Negotiation Project at Harvard Law School.
Chuck served as a teaching assistant to Professor Roger Fisher in Harvard Law School’s Program of Instruction for Lawyers Negotiation Workshop and completed a Specialization in Negotiation and Dispute Resolution through Harvard's Program on Negotiation in 1993.
He has held numerous leadership positions within the dispute resolution profession, including service on the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court Standing Committee on Dispute Resolution, presidency of the Association for Conflict Resolution New England Chapter, and presidency of the International Academy of Mediators Board of Governors.
