Aaron A. Arzu is a Mediator and Mentor with MWI. He is a creative problem solver and trusted adviser with deep experience guiding clients through modern business, regulatory, governance, and organizational challenges.
As a business owner himself, Aaron understands the practical pressures facing parties in conflict. He brings that perspective to his mediation work, helping participants identify interests, manage risk, evaluate options, and work toward durable and realistic resolutions.
Aaron is qualified under Massachusetts law as a mediator pursuant to M.G.L. c. 233, §23C. He has mediated cases across multiple Massachusetts courts and facilitated disputes for private companies, nonprofits, and housing organizations.

Aaron’s mediation approach is practical, facilitative, and solution-oriented. He helps parties move beyond positional conflict by creating space for thoughtful conversation, careful listening, and creative problem-solving.
His experience as a litigator, former prosecutor, business owner, adviser, and mediator allows him to understand disputes from multiple angles. He is especially effective in matters where legal, business, regulatory, organizational, and human dynamics overlap.
Aaron also trains mediation professionals and brings a mentoring mindset to his work, helping parties and practitioners develop clearer communication, stronger decision-making, and more constructive approaches to conflict.
Background
Before co-founding The Arzu Law Group LLC, Aaron was a senior litigation associate at Duane Morris LLP and began his legal career as an assistant district attorney in Brooklyn, New York.
His legal practice has included conducting internal investigations, negotiating with government agencies, defending clients in state and federal courts, and advising on administrative law and corporate governance.
Aaron is a graduate of Georgetown University Law Center and Harvard University, cum laude. He is admitted to practice in New York, Massachusetts, and federal courts.
Beyond the law, Aaron is a Cordon Bleu-trained chef and former Resident Chef at Sur La Table in Boston. He is also the founder of Creative Culinary Innovations, a private chef and consulting business.
