About Lisa

Lisa Pomerantz is an Arbitrator and Mediator with MWI. She serves as a neutral on the American Arbitration Association Commercial, Consumer, and Employment Panels, the Eastern District of New York Mediation Panel, and various New York State mediation panels. She also is a public arbitrator for FINRA handling investor protection and employment cases.

Lisa has represented numerous employees and employers as settlement counsel in resolving employment-related disputes involving statutory and contract claims. Her mediation and arbitration practice includes workplace, employment, higher education, healthcare, family business, real estate, construction, and commercial matters.

She is available for mediations and arbitrations in Denver, New York, Boston, and remotely.

Background

Lisa has taught Employment Law at Texas A&M and Touro Law Schools. At Touro, she also taught Arbitration and Interviewing, Negotiating and Counseling.

She has served as a Visiting Instructor at Vilnius University in Lithuania and the University of Tartu in Estonia, teaching courses on workplace issues, negotiation, and conflict resolution.

Lisa earned her J.D. from Boston University and her B.A. in Economics and History, cum laude, from Harvard University.
