After passing through security, check in at the Clerk’s Office directly to the left. Summary Process matters are typically heard on the second floor.
Once in the courtroom, sit to the far left of the judge’s bench. Inform the calling clerk or judge that mediation is available and provide the number of mediators present.
Before court begins, identify an available mediation space. The mediation may be held in an empty courtroom or jury room, usually on the second floor.
A photocopier should be available for mediators on the second floor. If it is unavailable or not working, copies can be made at the Clerk’s Office on the basement level.
Add the case information and upload the paperwork under the court case in the portal. If you have trouble uploading the documents or mediated multiple cases during the same session, email the scans to courtmediation@mwi.org.
