Nnena Odim is an ombuds, mediator, attorney, trainer, and consultant with more than 25 years of experience.

She serves as a conference ombuds for clients including the American Economic Association (AEA), the American Planning Association (APA), and the Coastal and Estuarine Research Federation (CERF).

Nnena also serves as an ombuds for DAVIS Construction, the American Economic Association, and Emerson College.

Her work as an ombuds and conference ombuds reflects deep expertise in conflict resolution, participant support, and fostering healthy professional environments during large-scale events.

Approach

Nnena brings decades of mediation and conflict management experience to her work with organizations and conferences.

Since 1997, she has mediated a broad range of disputes, including employment, housing, business, and family and domestic relations matters.

She has also designed and led conflict management training programs for organizations including Boston Public Schools, Coca-Cola, and Netflix.

Background

Nnena has been trained by the International Ombuds Association and has served as an ombuds for organizations including CVS Health and John Moriarty and Associates.

She recently retired from Harvard Law School, where she served as Director and Senior Clinical Instructor of the Family/Domestic Violence Law Clinic.

Nnena remains an active attorney and continues supporting the development of future legal professionals through her collaborations with the Harvard Mediation Program and the Harvard Program on Negotiation.
