In-Person Sessions: First and third Tuesdays of the month at 9:00 AM

Forms

Please use the forms located in the General Forms list. You will need to complete an Agreement to Participate, a Fillable ADR Referral Form and, if an agreement is reached, the Mediation Memorandum or if needed, the Agreement for Judgment – Small Claims form. 

Parking

There is public parking available on streets in the vicinity of the courthouse. 

Pre-Mediation

When arriving at the courthouse, check in at the Clerk’s Office, which is down the hallway directly across from security, to let them know you have arrived. There are multiple mediation rooms to use. You can ask the clerk for assistance if needed to direct you to an available room. 

Mediation

The clerk will inform you which courtroom you are needed in. When entering the courtroom, introduce yourself to the assistant clerk seated in the judge’s box. They will check to see if any of the parties have yet arrived, and if not, will refer available cases during the call of the list. 

Post-Mediation

After the case has been mediated (with or without a settlement) take the file to the Clerk’s Office and request that copies be made of each document. Once the mediator has received copies, take the file back to Courtroom 1 and deliver it to the assistant clerk who referred the case. 

Uploading paperwork: Please add the case information and upload the paperwork under the court case in the portal. If you are having trouble with this step or have mediated multiple cases in one session, please email the scans to MWI at courtmediation@mwi.org.
