MWI Organizational Ombuds Panel Application

MWI is seeking experienced alternative dispute resolution professionals to serve as independent contractors on our Organizational Ombuds Panel.

Experience Required

At least five years of experience serving as an in-house or outsourced ombuds.

Compensation

Up to $170 per hour for billable client work, depending on experience.

No Panel Fees

There is no application fee or annual fee to join MWI’s ombuds panel.

About the Opportunity

This application helps MWI evaluate your interest and qualifications to work as an independent contractor and member of our organizational ombuds panel. MWI qualifies and contracts with individual ombuds, not firms or organizations.

Although we welcome applications from all experienced ombuds who meet the criteria, our priority is to provide assignments to accepted panelists in the order in which they are accepted. Completing this application expresses your interest but does not guarantee acceptance or future assignments.

Who Should Apply

MWI is looking for applicants with at least five years of experience as an outsourced or in-house ombuds. Relevant experience may include work with:

Corporations and other businesses
Colleges, universities, and academic institutions
Government agencies
Nonprofit organizations

Panel members are paid up to $170 per hour, depending on their level of experience, for billable work performed for MWI clients.

Application and Selection Process

Meeting the qualifications described in the application does not, by itself, guarantee acceptance. Applicants under consideration must also complete:

An online interview
A presentation of up to ten minutes explaining the role of an ombuds
A professional reference check
